братья is the nominative plural, so you could say:
У меня есть братья = I have [some] brothers
братьев is the genitive plural, and the genitive is used in constructions with «нет»
У меня нет братьев = I have no brothers

I think the simplest way to say "my hobbies are" is:
Мои увлечения: [and then list them].
There's also a word «хобби» in Russian, I think you could substitute it for «увлечения» here. Note that «хобби» is indeclinable though, which means that ALL its forms are the same (whether they're singular or plural).

Меня зовут Даниел. Я живу в Иннсбруке, в Австрии. Мне 22 года.
Я студент в университете.
Мои хобби это спорты, мои друзья, русский язик и музыки.

Actually, the word хобби is not much used in Russian. What is your hobby? can translate as "Чем ты занимаешься?", "Чем ты увлекаешься"? "Какое у тебя увлечение?"

I just wanted to say that you could also use a verb:
Я увлекаюсь велоспортом, плаванием и игрой на гитаре. И, конечно, изучением русского языка!

but some, to some extent, "simple" people might not understand its meaning then, and there's a brilliant joke about that.

Even if there were such people, I'm sure that the main target of this joke was the word "хобби" itself. It does sound ... strange ("мои хобби", urgh.)

I know you were asking about Russian, not English, but "did" definitely sounds much better than "made" in this sentence!

P.S. Your English is actually pretty good!

I've been told by Russians that the best way to translate "I love to cook!" is Кулинария -- моё хобби ("The culinary arts are my hobby"). Of course, you can say something like Я люблю готовить (еду), and thus avoid sounding like a новый русский yuppie poseur who always uses foreign words, but я люблю готовить doesn't necessarily convey the geek-pleasure that some people get from learning and practicing new techniques in the kitchen.
