    cases

Is is possible to have more than one case in a sentence??

For example does the following sentence make grammatical sense?

вы хотите читает мой стати о москве.

What I want to say is " Do you want to read my article about Moscow". I am also unsure whetere to use о, об or обо.

вы хотите читать мою статью о москве.

Об is used before words beginning with a vowel.
Обо is used before мне, что, and всё; also used optionally in о(бо) всём, о(бо) всей and о(бо)всех.

    Is this grammatically correct?
I know it sounds really bad but this is just an example.

Вы хотите читать со своей женой мою статью про Москву своей сыне?
Do you want to read with your wife my article about Moscow to your son?

    Edit:
Вы со женой хотите читать мою статью про Москву своей сыне?

I'm doing this to help you, but also as an excersise for me
Вы хочите читать мою статью о москвe.

читать - to read "do you want to read..."
article is статья or статью in accustive.
мой needs to be feminine to agree with статья, моя, and then changes to мою because it's accustive.

    Someone correct me if needed.

i have a question about О. Isn't it supposed to take Prepositional case. So why do u see things like О нас, and it taking accusative all the time.
Вот это да, я так люблю себя. И сегодня я люблю себя, ещё больше чем вчера, а завтра я буду любить себя to ещё больше чем сегодня. Тем что происходит,я вполне доволен!

О can be followed by both Prepositional and Accusative depending on use.

Go to this website and type О and it will explain.

Вы хотите читать со своей женой мою статью о Москве/про Москву своему сыну.
    It's easy to remember, just imagine сво-ему kinda 'to own-him, сво-ей - 'to own-her', сво-им - 'to own-them'.
Well, I see Вы(nom) женой(inst) статью(acc) о Москве (prep) сыну (dat), there is no only genetive - oк, let's add it:
Вы хотите читать со своей женой мою статью о Москве своему сыну без перерыва?

    Вы хотите почитать (or прочитать)...
Can't think of a situation when it's possible to say "вы хотите читать".

No no. The whole sentence - "Вы хотите читать со своей женой мою статью о Москве/про Москву своему сыну. "

    .

alexei is right because that sentence implies a completion of reading.

Ок понимаю что, дела идут далеко, а всё-таки добавлю:

Вы в саду хотите почитать со своей женой мою статью о Москве/про Москву своему сыну?

Isn't this a question? So I put a question mark. We're getting to the point where word order comes into play, and maybe знатоки can correct us.

I think with this Prep.2 that I have added we should take the proposed Prep.1 and drop the про Москву accusative so as to leave room for some other accusative. So I propose:

Вы в саду хотите почитать со своей женой мою статью о Москве своему сыну?
You want to read my article about Moscow in the garden with your wife to your son ????

Maybe, like this, we should include our proposed translation. That way any snooping Russians can correct us! It will also pose them a challenge I guarantee. =:^0 (Looking back, this will really challenge us all.)
