Thread: Another question(s) grammar-wise...

Я читал в этом сайте:

Neuter nouns ending in -о or -и that are direct imports from foreign languages, such as кафе, кино, or такси do not decline at all, regardless of what case they ought to be in, however any adjectives or demonstratives tied to them do.

Soo, would it go like this..? :
Я сейчас в кино.
Мы будем ехать на кино.
Он сказал мне, "Ты знаешь? В этом кино новый фильм..!"

By the way, кино is a loanword..? From where it is imported..?

Yes sopmething like this. Кино, пианино and домино do not decline at all.

Мы будем ехать на кино. - better say Мы поедем в кино.
В этом кинотеатре новый фильм.

Кино is a short form from кинотеатр and кинофильм and the sourse is cinema - кинематограф or cинематограф.

Question about negative pronouns.
Он ничего не сказал.
Это ничего не значит.
When using such these negative pronouns (никогда, никто, никому, etc.) in a sentence, I notice the не is always written before the verb.
My questions are:
1. Does не must be put before the verb..?
2. This не is always put near the negative pronouns. Can I write this: Он не сказал ничего / Он сказал ничего не..? (I'm not sure for the latter -- it looks strange...)

2 you can change the other words' places -

Не значит это ничего
Это не значит ничего
Ничего это не значит
Это ничего не значит

Your last sentense was wrong though, you can not say like that and put the poor HE in the end of the sentense.
