As a follow on from the thread about можно and возможно, can someone please tell me what is the difference between these words?
Thanks.

верно - in the meaning "maybe" it sounds a bit old and bookish
наверно, наверное - used as "maybe"
наверняка - mostly like "for sure"
Gib immer 100% bei der Arbeit: 12% am Montag, 23% am Dienstag, 40% am Mittwoch, 20% am Donnerstag, 5% am Freitag ...
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.
I thought верно mean "true". As my teacher used to say:
совершенно верно!
I am a notourriouse misspeller. Be easy on me.
Yo hablo español mejor que tú.
Trusnse kal'rt eturule sikay!!! ))
It does and it's the main meaning of it. The other meaning is "probably", "most likely".Originally Posted by kalinka_vinnie

"Happy new year, happy new year
May we all have a vision now and then
Of a world where every neighbour is a friend"
