For fun ( ), practice and vocabulary building, I've been translating various things. I've just started to translate a novel, and am stumped by a sentence:
I'm sure that it's just idiomatic usage that's confusing me. My best effort at a translation is this:Барышня, которая и в самом деле была чудо как хороша, уставилась на наглеца, чуть приоткрыв от испуга земляничные губки.
Я правилен?The young lady, who was really miraculously well behaived, stared at the impudent fellow, her strawberry lips ever so slightly parted from being startled.
Спасибо!
