    take off your clothes

How do you say in Russian "take off your clothes"?
Please give polite and informal forms.

for me the words раздевайся\снимай sounds a bit like a command
and разденьтесь\снимите и разденься\сними like a polite proposal or invitation or even просьба (I doubt that the word request fits well here).

In some situations it sounds more tender and kind if you meant that.

Can somebody translate the following in Russian please?

"Why are all of your clothes wet?"

It depends of what do you mean to say and a degree of wetness. If a man fell into a pond:

    I would say:

I went to 'Green Hills' to buy a few groceries"
'Green Hills' is a grocery store.

In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

Но я пыталась перевести "...to buy a few groceries".

Maybe it is a good idea to be polite in every situation.

obviously if you respect someone, you would not be saying this anyway! You only would say it to a spouse/significant other, or a prostitute. Even though you just met the prostitute, im sure you would not use "вы" with them...

If your 12 year old son comes home and he is drenched from the rain, you may say "take off your clothes or you will catch a cold".
In this situation, politeness is optional.
