    russian to english ok?

    hi . iwas wandering if someone could translate 'little bird' into russian for me. its doestoevsky's fond description of children and would like a tattoo of it in honour of my daughter. ive encountered three versions
    - небольшая птица
    - маленькая птица
    and - маленький птица
    thank you for your help

    I vote for "маленькая птица"

    птица is feminine so "маленький птица" is gramatically incorrect.
    небольшая is "not big" so "небольшая птица" is "not-big bird"
    Какая разница, умереть богатым или бедным?

    Какой толк от богатства если ты не счастлив.

    I'd say "маленькая птичка".
    My English isn't so good, зато с русским все в порядке ))

    wow....have been learning russian for 3 years now..

    having seen this topic, my first intention was "ПТИЧКА" without knowing that it would ever exist!!!
