No, this was a mod of 'OFP:Resistance'. In that version NATO invaded and the Soviets helped the locals to fight it over. No switching sides there. The only 'thin' moment is when you need to trade captured US tanks for Russian T72s. I wonder where the locals did find them Smile And what were they going to do with an Abrams Smile

You must have a different version than me then... Because in the campaign I have... You start out on the Russian side, then you are supposed to assassinate some Rebel leader and he tells you about how General Guba is not taking orders from the Kremlin and wants to detonate the nuke over the islands, so you switch sides and fight with resistance...

Not to be confused with OFP Resistance, where you are Viktor Trotska and you play as resistance the whole time... and then get shot by 15 tanks at the end.

OMG Me and Pravit and V used to make custom missions all the time!!!
We even had Mafia wars! With BMWs and handguns! )

WOW u shoulda played with us. We always had cool missions with Russian music playing, jumping out of helecopters and sliding down mountains.

One time I even started making a Revolution 1917 Mod where you must save Lenin from the whites and escort him to Ploshad Revolutsii... But I never finished it. Me and pravit used to play with custom Putin Faces as well (well he used a micheal jackson face most of the time). We even had one where we were Russian frontiersmen and we fought off the savages in turkestan We had horses and old bolt action rifles, it was great.

Wow... those were the days... I miss them so.

But we just stopped playing suddenly sometime in 2006 after like 5 years. Probably because I joined the military. Too bad its not as good as the games.

Only if you like this kind of games. The main difference - there's no health bar there - if you're hit - you're usually dead (as in real world).
