    how would you translate this?

    Зовёт нас дальний света шум,
    И каждый смотрит на дорогу
    С волненьем гордых, юных дум.
    Кому - нары, кому - Канары.

    I also believe that "дальний света шум" here = "distant noise of the world". Wanja is right.
