    A paragraph I need translated - TY

I want the best or closest Russian translation of this paragraph. If anybody could help I would grately appreciate it.

There is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.

Using an online translator I got this:

Там не реально меня: только юридическое лицо, кое-что иллюзия. И хотя я могу скрыть мой холодный пристальный взгляд, и Вы можете пожать мою руку и чувствовать, что плоть держит ваша, и возможно Вы можете даже ощутить, что наши образы жизни вероятно сопоставимы... Я просто не там.

Which translates back to english on the same translator:

There it is not actual me: only the legal person, something illusion. And though I can hide my cold steadfast sight, and you can shake my hand and to feel, that the flesh is held by yours, and you can even probably feel, that our way of life are possibly comparable... I am simple not there.

Any help would be appreciated. If you do offer a Russian translation, can you please translate your paragraph back to English for me? Thanks you.

All the online translators should be shooted.

    As for the paragraph:
    "There" - where?
In Russian, all nationalities and their corresponding languages start with a lower-case letter.

One of the hundreds of possible translations:

Не существует меня настоящего: есть только суть, нечто иллюзорное. И хотя я могу скрыть свой холодный взгляд, а вы можете пожать мне руку и ощутить ответное сжатие пальцев, и, может быть, даже почувствовать, что образ жизни, который мы ведем, чем-то схож... Меня просто не существует.

There's no point of translating it back into English. Yes, it differs. But I'm afraid it won't help you understand whether translation is good or bad. Moreover, word by word translation never works. The one provided by the online translator is an ultimate proof. It is gibberish.

"There" at the start of the sentence does not refer to a place (where); it just introduces the sentence: http://dictionary.cambridge.org/define. ... &dict=CALD
The "there" at the end of the last sentence does refer to a place (the person's physical body), see http://dictionary.cambridge.org/define. ... &dict=CALD

Yes, I knew that... Well, I just wanted to specify the context because this "юридическое лицо" confused me very much.

Thanks.. this is actually very good. (well I took it to an online translator and I can see its the same jist)...

The only part is at the end. The "I simply am not there" is meant more like Im not there emotionally, not physically. I dont know if your russian translation wrote I do not 'exist' or not since you didnt translate it back, but if it did, is there any way of saying it more like "Im not there" instead of "I dont exist"

    I hope thats not confusing.

Thanks againg.. Its actually very good. Im very appreciative.

When business comes to distinguishing between figurative and direct, Russian and English are very much alike.
As in the English original, this phrase could mean both physical and emotional condition, it is also true for its Russian counterpart.

    That sounds good to me.

So would you prefer it the way you have it, then?

How is this one incorrect?: Я просто не там.

is it too literally or just grammatically incorrect?

And does gRomoZeka's translatino sound good to everybody as far as what Im trying to say? It sounds good to me.
