This is how I understood it:
Are you aware that I am out of money for a long time now? Therefore, could you please revisit the budget item titled "My dear wife". Also, I have a big favor to ask you: do not tell me about problems. I know that all and I perfectly understand everything.

Ahhh, so that's the big favour! To not tell her about about problems. I didn't think that the two subjects were intertwined. Thanks! That clears things up!
