    I have a question....

    What does "зараза" mean? I've heard it used as what sounds like a curse and I've heard it used jokingly...

    Actually, it means "infection", but can be used as a definition of a person who poisons other people's lives.

    Yes, one can use it as a curse or in jest.

    "Вот зараза!" says me when I can't handle something.
    "Ах ты зараза..." somebody in a movie can hiss to another person, thinking that he/she did something impredicatable.

    Etc.
    «И всё, что сейчас происходит внутре — тоже является частью вселенной».
