Thank you, I will have to look through all these comments in detail tonight. At a glance it seems like some of them are simple cases of beyond what we have learned (sometimes our professor will correct us and just say, "You will learn about that later," and other times she prefers us to do the best with what we know).

As for Whitworth Универстет(е) I switch back and forth but mostly do it that way. I will keep in mind what you said but this is just basic homework right now (our professor said for right now she doesn't care if we try and translate english titles/names into Russian or not). We start doing real translations and making stuff flow properly this quater though I think .

I've pretty much decided I am going to have to live in Russia for some time because I want to learn the language to near-fluency... those two years of Spanish I took were a waste of time :fool" (since I remember barely any of it) , and I have no desire for Russian to become like that!!!

EDIT: Oh and Оля, Jan-Term used to be more common but few schools do it anymore. We have a one-month semester during January where you normally only take one class (and it is 3 hours a day monday-friday), but I am ahead of the game so all I am taking is badminton (PE's are only 1 hour a day). And of course Russian but that is at a different campus/school.
