Thread: Help translating several instructions for Russian tourists

So in our coast where I work we have lockers, but the instructions of how to use the lockers are written only in English and Hebrew. I thought to help a bit to our Russian tourists who often neglect using it or get confused as to how to. We do have a Russian worker in our coast but he's not always around to help.

So if anyone could help me translate this I will print and laminate it to post it on the locker doors... I'm sure the manager here will be pleased to have one of those



Could I harness anyone's help for this?

1. Вставьте монету достоинством в 10 новых шекелей для однократного использования ячейки (не более 24 часов).
2. Поверните ключ влево и вытащите его (НЕ поворачивайте ключ вправо!).
3. Камера хранения работает до 22:00.
4. Штраф за потерянный ключ - 45 новых шекелей.
5. Администрация не несет ответственности за сохранность вещей, оставленных в камере хранения.
6. Ведется видеонаблюдение.

Numbering items from 3 to 6 seems unnecessary to me
First steps should be numbered instead.

Well, maybe, but you wrote that the security cameras work till 22:00, but what's originally said is that the lockers operate till 22:00

lockers = камера хранения (it is very common designation for such thing in Russia, and is immediately familiar to any Russian person)
security cameras = камеры видеонаблюдения

All lockers as a whole are called камера хранения, individual locker is called ячейка.

Also, if I remove the word "новых" from "новых шекелей" it won't spoil the grammar right? Because nobody says "новых шекелей", we just say шекелей

Something like "Каждое использование ячейки - 10 шекелей" will do.
Or maybe "Каждое запирание дверцы - 10 шекелей" if we want to emphasise the need for payment every time our customer locks his stuff
