My Russian is limited & I received the following message that I can't fully translate..there appear to be few 'slang' dictionaries! Grateful for help:

"Ya dumauy ty neploho ponimaesh russky yazyk, t.k. ty zhyl v Rossii. poetomu mozhet ty mne napishesh koe-chto po-russki. Eto bylo by velikolepno."

так как - meaning "as", "because" - I think you understand Russian quite well, because you lived in Russia.
