Ну тебе-то, наверно, не надо. Ты-то живешь в Торонтовке, если это не шутка. А про себя я решил, что мне перевод будет стоить кучи усилий. Но послушаю совета страшно доброго кроколида (тот крокодил-кукла - это нечто), помаюсь с переводом.

Yeah, seems to be I am for globalization. I knew quite a lot about the thing some time ago. All the pluses minuses and other stuff. But now I don't remember a thing. Only generalities.

A trump card, isnt it? So you don't agree with me. Globalization is evil. What can you oppose to those advantages I said ealier of? (Maybe they are not even advantages in your opinion?) Erasing national borders? It's a good thing in my view. The more things you contact with, the more you learn. The more you learn, the more possibilities for activity you have. The more possibilities you have, the more you try and achieve and the better you are. The better you are, the more perfect you can make the world. And finally, you WILL improve the world, because it's in your nature. (There is even a great physical law about that что-то там энергия стремится к своему полному воплощению). You means here humanity of course.

Well, in my opinion, globalization is inevitable under some common economic ground (like capitalism). It is neither evil nor good. I mean, it's good for some and evil for the others, as usual. I believe any restrictions on the free trade are harmful to all in the long range. I personally welcome globalization, however I would prefer to shape it a bit differently than the way it's done now. For example, I would prefer to see more "international culture" (Esperanto and the related culture) and less one specific culture (US pop culture that is) destroying other national cultures. However, there are plenty of other people (on this forum as well) who would strongly oppose globalization.
