Does anyone have the song named "Шпарю" by Lyube? I heard it on youtube.com yesterday and I like it a lot. I have lots of Lyube songs but never heard this one before If anyone has the song and/or lyrics please post

Could somebody be brave enough to provide a translation?

Шпарить - Бегать, носиться (синонимы)
Дать гвоздя - I have no idea what's that, сленг какой-то.
Харя - лицо (разг., грубое)
Кореш - друг (сленг)
Фраер - неприятный человек (сленг)
Табло - лицо (сленг)

It's a typical Russian variety of a "gangsta" song, not worth the effort. Some rural dude went to Moscow, drank like a fish and kicked some ass. Very inspirational.

i thought фраер meant guy and was neutral?

technically, фраер is a person who does not belong to the criminal world, a sheep to feed on, someone not to be respected. It can be used in a more general sense by idiots pretending to be connected or something.

No, absolutely not. Originally, it came from the german "Freier" (literally "the free one") what meant something like "someone who is not married and is looking for a bride" (I have never heard it being used this way in German, must be reaaaalyyy old) and today simply means the client of a prostitute.

I would say, in russian the meaning was and is constantly changing (with one of them being exaclty like it is in German today). One could probably write a book about it.

I've never heard of using of the word "фраер" in a meaning "client of a prostitute".
As far as I know, this criminal slang word meant the same that the word лох means now (a man who is easilly beguiled or swindled).
Now that word remains only in folklore.

Yes, I suppose it WAS one the first meanings when the word came from German into Russian. Nowadays the meaning is an other.
