My native language is English.

Hi. My native language is English. I have been studying Russian for a couple of months. I am 62 years old and my interest in Russian stems from my girlfriend of 3 years and her family, all Russian speaking immigrants to the US from Baku, Azerbaijan and Russia.

My native language is Ukraine, but I am able to speak fluently only Russsain. I like English for it's a "pure" language, the languge of freedom.

English unfortunatly (i hate its sound)

Well, maybe its where i live, words are spat out by 14 year old kids who wear tracksuits, cheap jewellry and think they are tough, who finish every sentence with either 'mate' (friend) or some veriety of swearing. It has been ruined in my eyes.

english ,german, french(quebec)on fathers side i like the sound of russian ,especially in their songs (trying to learn a bit) .know some russian bodies here in the city

I used to work with a guy from Macedonia and EVERYONE thought he WAS Russian.

Whenever there was a new employee or a meeting with new clients, they would say something like, "Oh, where are you from, Russia?" and he would get his feathers all ruffled.
