Thread: Bering Strait lyrics for Porushka-Paranya

I have the phonetic English text for the lyrics to this song but would like to find the Russian lyrics ...does anybody know where that would be available? I checked several of the lyrics web sites but they come up with the english garble-dee-goop... thank you

The reason I ask is I also tried, but turned up just the song available for download/for sale/on a cd -- but no lyrics. I'm assuming you used a word for lyrics -- what was it (I tried лирика and no dice)? I've tried searching for lyrics before (for other songs as well) and to no avail. On an unrelated note, anyone know them for a song called "Solnyshko" (sp?).

I actually simply typed Порушка Пораня at www.google.ru and went to the very first link. Then I had to fight the problem on that page that wouldn't let me copy the text, but that's another story Пораня might be a wrong spelling BTW. If you type Порушка Параня you'll get more relevant results... I found this nice collection of Russian folk songs:

The word for lyrics is either simply слова or текст and you can add песни, i.e. слова песни or текст песни. However, I didn't use them in my search...

I am not sure which Solnyshko song you are trying to find. The Russian title however will be Солнышко... So try googling for текст/слова песни Солнышко.
