    Typing Cyrillic with Chrome?

In FF there's an add-on that allows you to use your keyboard to type in Cyrillic and the letters correspond to the English sounds e.g. if you hit the F key you input Ф. Is there anything similar for using in Chrome?
    thanks

Hi sperk, I also use translit, but not the FF add-on. Check this out: http://translita.appspot.com/download.html
That makes the translit usable throughout Windows.

I rarely use Chrome but did you go to the 'web store' page and enter either 'Russian' or 'Russian transliteration' in the search field?

Я рекомендую вам чтобы привыкнуть к умолчанию о русской клавиатуры на ранней стадии.

that sounds interesting but when I try and run it I get "this is not a valid win32 application." Do you have any idea what's going on?
    thanks

Try doing the following and let me know:

    1. Navigate to http://translita.appspot.com/download.html

    2. Click on Zip (the direct link is http://translita.appspot.com/TranslitA_Bin.zip )

    3. After you download the .zip file, extract all (two) compressed files somewhere (e.g. to your desktop). Among those two files there will be a file named TranslitA.exe

    4. Run the TranslitA.exe once.

    5. When you want to turn on/off Russian, press Ctrl+Shift on the keyboard once, release and start typing in any program.

    Have fun!

this thing is great, it works anywhere, I don't even use the clunky FF add-on anymore:
    Google Input Tools for Windows

It seems to me that it's not hard to learn to type in Russian the normal way. I am sure it's better than whatever phonetic is.
E.g. here is one free program: Все10

Lol, why to use programs like that? Isn't it easier to buy some stickers with Russian letters on Amazon.com (I ordered some there) for the keyboard?

I think you can also get Russian keyboard in apple store, I mean the US apple store, I haven't bought it yet, but I suppose it's just a regular bilingual keyboard like the one they use in Russia.
