    Russian Language

    Hi everybody,

Although I'm a Turkish man, I've been in Moscow, Kyiv and Minsk for business. I met with a lot of people right these cities and I could not see any difference on their language. All of them were speaking "Russki yizik"
But I saw a little differences between them; Belarussian people are so polite, Ukrainens are polite but Russians are unpolite.
Forgive me Russians but the situation is like this...

I do not think it's fair to generalize.

The only unpolite Russian man I have met so far threatened to cut off my b...s because I slept with someone I didn't know he was dating. She was very nice, though...!

Nah , it wasn't Russian. The Russian would swear to cut them off go away get upset about life being sh.. get mildly drunk (up to 2 bottles 0.75 of vodka with Coca Cola) come up at your place later beat you almost to death feel sorry drag you to the nearest bar force you to drink untill both' are ultimately drunk and in the end wondering A ТЫ МЕНЯ УВАЖАЕШЬ would conclude : 1) you're nice chap all in all; 2) she is a ...... and isn't worth fighting between such friends .

I actually meant that in the sense that you hate generalisations about Russia and its citizens.

Well, Russians at home or in a social setting are usually quite polite. In the subway or trolleybus, however, it's survival of the fittest. Take no prisoners, don't look back!

    Russian manners

Last year I had a Russian fellow(from Moscow) come to work for me in the power plant I operate, and he has to be the most polite well mannered person I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I also correspond with a Russian man via e-mail, and he too is very courteous and sincere. Also,in my years in the military overseas, I have always found the Slavic people to be very warm and friendly, and generous to a fault. As in all nationalities, I am sure that there are a few skunks, but I have yet to meet one.
