Did you also have a job in Russia there? Or did you just save up that amount and then went to Russia?

Saved up and went... I did a small stint as an English teacher, but they pay like 5 bucks an hour, so unless you are interested in teaching, it really ain't worth it... However since I left my job (took a years leave of absence) in the middle of the year, I dropped a tax level and got back from the government about the same amount of money I spent in Russia (!)
