Maybe this was asked before but . . .
How do I get my keyboard to type Russian letters?

Asked a ton before. 2 ways:
1) Russify your computer.
2) Download a program like Russian ASDF and use it. That's what I use.

May I ask how you've been doing it all this time?

I was using an online keyboard and clicking on each individual letter. It was getting to be a drag.
