My name is Paul, I live in an unremarkable town in England called Luton.

My friend Ben and I are trying to make a friend in every country in the world - wouldn't that be great?

Lets prove that the world is not such a bad place, we are not all so different. Whatever country you are from, you are more than welcome.

We already have USA, England, Scotland, Poland, Ireland, Germany, Northern Ireland, Spain, Mexico and Indian involved. Perhaps if you join us, we could put you in touch with them!

I wonder is there any geographical difference between ireland and Northern Ireland (except for North)?

Ireland (Eire) and North Ireland are two different "countries". I put that in quatation mark because Northern Ireland belong to the United Kingdom.

Which is, conveniently enough, defined as "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland". Thus, I think we can say that Northern Ireland is as much of a country as Great Britain is.

I could be your Russian friend but your offer doesn't look promising to me.

I lived in Kent when I was in the UK in the summer of 2004. As far as I remember Essex is pretty close to Kent, right? The reason why I think so is that I saw a lot of signs with the name of this county on them while in Kent. Kent is on the South-East coast of England.
