    How to send a housewarming gift?

    A friend has a new flat in Russia. She has most of the kitchen taken care of and furniture too. I would like to send a fan. Should be less than $30 USD/900Ru

    Be honest. I know some of you will be OK, some I toss to the sharks.

    I'm looking more along the line of buying on-line and shipped from a European company set up for Russian voltage/plugs so it actually works.
    I was thinking a fan because she doesn't have one. 3 speed, oscillating type. I know China makes tons of them. I was blown away (pun accepted) that she doesn't own one.
    Any reputable firms anyone might suggest? Amazon.ru?
