How to get Cyrillic characters to show up in IE7 bookmarks

hi,
i just imported my bookmarks from firefox into ie7 and now the russian bookmarks don't encode properly, any suggestions?

Convert them to CP1251 or Unicode, I don't know which codepage is used in IE7 for storing bookmarks .

i really hate ie but firefox has been slow and crashing alot lately

i figured it out, the importing was causing the trouble. If you go to page and bookmark it, it will encode properly. (if anyone cares

)

Try Opera. Although it is buggy and freezes quite often (Opera 9), maybe it will turn out otherwise for you...

Perhaps you need to update Firefox. My Firefox updated itself a few days ago and I have not noticed any problems lately.

Perhaps you need to get rid of tons of parasites, viruses, trojans, spyware, adware, and other cr@p on your PC
