Thread: Help to translate a few sentences.

Could you please translate the following sentence into Russian? I am studying a basic Russian course nowadays. My computer doesn't have Windows operating system. I am working with Linux.

How can I write Russian letters on my computer? I just browsed on the Internet. There are a lot of suggestions for Windows and Mac computers. Could you help me on this too?

Which version of Linux do you have? You should be able to go to your language settings in a similar fashion to Windows XP and just add Russian! Then all you have to do to swicth is hit the command that you chose. ie shift+alt or alt+alt

Do you mean: I work out at the gym three times a week because I like it. If so, I'd translate it as follows:
Я хожу в тренажёрный зал три раза в неделю, потому что мне это нравится.

I'd put it this way:

1. I like girls.
2. I like girls very much.
3. I like beautiful girls.
4. I like beautiful girls very much.
5. I like extremely beautiful girls.
and so on and so forth.....

Instead of ' I am training' , I could write either ' I train ' or ' I do train ' .

If it is the case, this word 'хожу' doesn't come.

In English, both forms are fine. When I say ' I do train three times a week' , I put some emphasis to tell you the fact that I train at the gym,

хожу comes from the verb ходить

"I train three times a week at the gym because I like training" is, as Indra already said "Три раза в неделю я тренируюсь в спортивном зале, потому что мне нравится тренироваться"

No sure about how to emphasise it.

No. The verb "to do" is делать or сделать.
дело means something like "matter" or "business" or "things"
"Как дела?" means "How are things?"

I think you have

kde-i18n-ru 3.2.3-3mdk : Russian language support for KDE

It should be possible to switch keyboards. I can't tell you how to do it exactly. I know that in Red Hat Fedora adding another language is more or less the same as windows XP
