I've never heard of mongliod anywhere....weird

Mongoloid (монголоид) - a representative of the mongoloid race.

Mongliod (монглиод) - I never have heard the term.
Maybe it is very special medical term.

Mongoloid (capitalized) - belonging to a specific racial group.
mongoloid (not capitalized) - affected by Down syndrom (offensive).

yeah, I've heard mongoloid but not "mongliod". Maybe it's a regional thing...

Well, back in the Czar's period, girls did get married very young, like at 14, or even younger than that, to an older men, old enough to be there dads, but this doesn't happen this days anymore. Of course, young people do get married in Russia, just as in any other country in the world I think, but I'm pretty sure, that not only young people get married, in Russia.

I agree with you, my mother got married when she was 38 or so and had me and my brother even later, after 40.
But together with this, I agree that everyone, is free to get married whenever he/she wants to. It's just that, I think that under 20, 20 plus, is a pretty young age to settle down and people are not mature enough for that, I have seen a lot of examples, but of course, it doesn't happen with every single person who marrys young.
