    Fasten seat belt while seated

This is what every one can see in a plane
    Fasten seat belt while seated
I am curios about the grammar of the "while seated" part. Does it imply "once you have seated" or "all the time long while you are in the seat"?

I think it's "once you are seated" because during the flight, if they can, they turn off the seat belt light.

It means both. You should fasten your seatbelt when you first sit down, and you should keep it fastened at all times in which you are in your seat (the only time in which it should not be fastened is if you're not in your seat).

Scott--when they turn off the fasten seatbelt sign, it's usually just an indication that you're allowed to get up out of your seat to stretch or use the lavatory. They usually want you to keep it fastened while you're in your seat even after they turn the light off.

Yeah, I see that actual meaning is to keep the belt fastened all the time while you are in the seat (they do repeat it all the time over the speakers). I am interesting whether the grammar of the signature (without the additional announcements) does imply the same thing?

The grammar of the sentence does imply the same meaning with or without the spoken announcements.

"Fasten seat belt while seated" can be written as, "Fasten seat belt when you are sitting."

I hope that answers your question!
