Be carefull, this is a dodgey verb:
Покупать = IMPERFECTIVE
Купить = PERFECTIVE
Usually the verb with the По- is the perfective.
It's means 'in order to' / 'to'
When you want someone else to do something you use чтобы + past.
Я хочу, чтобы он мнe сказал его секреты
I want him to tell me his secrets
Она пошла в магазин, чтобы купить молока и пироги.
Он мне скажет: "Привет".
This is future tense, He will say Hi to me
"In the window" is an English idiom. Is the pie actually in the window? Is it somehow merged into the glass? No? So don't say it in Russian.
