What I hate about English commas most of all is that they're almost always "optional" and "not mandatory". After all, I don't care about English, but in Russian, it is not so! There are strict rules...
When you write "I took a bag, a hat, and an umbrella" in English, you need a comma before the last item in the list. But in Russian you don't. "Я взял сумку, шляпу_ и зонтик".
