1. China is already overpopulated.

2. A country can only support so many people.

3. A country supporting too many people will go to shit.

It may be a violation of human rights, but the quality of human life there would be a lot worse if they just let everyone has any many kids as they wanted.

If China didn't have a one-child policy their country would be a fucking shithole. BTW, the policy only applies to densely populated areas and not to rural areas or ethnic minorities.
