Nikita, it's totally normal dear! Some of us (non-native English speakers) went to English classes at age of 7 for example, but seriously we didn't learn anything but basic things like: Alphabet, Hello, how are you?, thank-you, one two three Etc etc... . Then after that school English classes began when we had gotten older, then it got even worse than the previous classes!
So when we wanna say, how long we've been learning English, we think we should say almost our whole life, but honestly, were we serious about learning it all those times?
It counts when you got serious about that! Like now!
Other than the things that, Lorente has mentioned, don't forget our general chat, you can practice your English there by communicating and discussing about any subject with many great people!
I've learned english for a year at the most.
Yes, the practice isn’t enough. If I can read the grammar and remember it, anyway in some time i forget it ... the same applies to the words when u don’t use it, the brain "overwrites" the information, and sometimes u can’t remember how to spell or accent the word, but u know - u used it before )))
So, about «nowadays knowledge of English» - we need to learn Chinese )))
Yea you also need a good partner to speak to, which i don't have any now...
By the way i know chinese, but not all the characters but most of them.
