I am Mandy from the Netherlands. I master almost the complete Cyrillic alphabet, but not small characters in handwriting. I play Russian music everyday in my car or at home. I hope to visit Russia someday, but only when financial situation and my Russian has improved.
I like to speak my Russian, because it gives me an advantage to Dutch people who find it hard to communicate with people from Poland, who just entered the Europian Union. And ofcourse encourages communication with all nations that used to belong to the former Sovjet Union, who don't know English.
My heritage is Dutch/Indonesian. I live in the Netherlands all my life. Most Close to Russia was when I was in Bulgaria in 2004 when I exported a car with a friend. In the East of Bulgaria I could watch Russian television.
