    Could you tell me which sentence is correct:

    1. Will the link be open in a new page?
    2. Will the link be opened in a new page?

    #2 is correct as far as the open vs. opened issue is concerned.

    I'd say "Will the link open in a new page"

    "Will the link be opened in a new page" sounds alright.

    #1 doesn't though.

    My first thought is...

    "Will the link open a new page?"

    Perhaps this is what you are trying to say?

    No!
    Indeed, each proper link will open a new page...
    I just asked whether the page to which a link reffers will open in a new window (blank window) or in the current window (where the link is situated).

    Anyway, Guys, thank you all for help!!!
    (I and my colleague had a bet on which of those sentences is correct, and I won!!! the stake was a bottle of beer!!! )

    No. He is talking about a hyperlink.

    In standard web technical speak one says "the link opens in a new page/window".

    Actually I think window would be best.

    My web design program says "Open link in new window"
