My name is Philip aka Paxmas. I am here to help a friend in Moscow with her English but if anyone else needs help i will try to provide it under this topic. Having English as my mother tongue and knowing the WWW well i will also try to direct people to good Web sites to learn English as well: An old but good Web is BBC World Service ~ Learning English :P

Could you please explain what is "bootstrap" and in which context you can use it? I have checked in dictionaries, but as it has several meanings I am still confused.

The following site is good for phrases. I hope this helps as it is the only known definition i know of. It is still in use as i have used it in the past although not often!
