Thread: No time to chill

I always feel awkward when using musical cliches. Once I've used it, it will seem that it has a slight difference of what I mean. Could you explain the phrase "No time to chill" to me?

It means no time to relax.

Chill or chill out can mean relax or calm down. If one of my children get really hyper or upset sometimes I will give them an order "Chill".

It really isn't used very often anymore and is sort of dated.

!unless the continuation was "... the beer", as in

"no time to chill the beer", then it means there is no time to cool down the object in question, being beer.
