Thread: map out

Нашёл в словаре следующее выражение: map out = планировать. И дан такой пример: to map out one's time = распределять своё время.

Допустим я хочу сказать: "Я распределяю своё время" . Как это будет звучать по-английски?

1. I map out one's time.
2. I map out my time.

Any ideas on this?

"One's" means "my/your/his/her/its/their/our" depending on the context.

So, of course, it should be something like "I always map out my time beforehand."

Про time иМХо лучше говорить to plan. А вообще time это ещё и глагол, я встречал they timed it perfectly. Что-то типа - они всё идеально спланировали (про время).

map out - больше планировать именно как на карте (маршрут например или программу развития на следующий квартал).

i agree with Ramil on this! It is more common to say,
"I plan out my day." Or just simply, "I plan my day."
