I am not a man you need

Хочу сказать по-английски "Я не тот человек, который вам нужен". Is "I am not a man (person) you need" correct?

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you. And what about "I am not the person you need"?

Yeah I think person could be completely interchangeable with man or woman.

"I'm not the man/person you need to speak with"- Said of a man
"I'm not the woman/person you want for the job"- Said of a woman

    Its all okay.
Вот это да, я так люблю себя. И сегодня я люблю себя, ещё больше чем вчера, а завтра я буду любить себя to ещё больше чем сегодня. Тем что происходит,я вполне доволен!

In addition, if you have already said "man" or "woman" or "person", then you can say, "I'm not the one you need."

Also, instead of "need" you can say "I'm not the person you want" or, "I'm not the person you are looking for." Within any particular context one of those might be better, but they all mean the same thing.

It is also common to add "think" into these expressions. This is because very short answers can be considered rude in conversation. So, "I don't think I'm the man you need for this" might be a little more polite than "I'm not the man you need."

Probably more information than you want

Of course, it depends on the relationship you have with the person that you say it to and the context of the situation. 'Need' can be a wide variety of concepts in English.

Спасибо, но мне нужен нейтральный вариант... И срочно.........
Как сказать буквально "принимать за кого-то"?

P.S. Да, наверное, "Who do you think I am" самое подходящее. Спасибо, Лёва.
