    Future simple

    Hello!

    I found some quiz. In this quiz there is one interesting question:

    /*************************

    We ... the laundry tomorrow.

    Choices: will doing
    are doing

    *************************/

    The correct answer is "are doing".

    It is surprising me. I never saw such word construction before "We are doing the laundry tomorrow".

    I know this is the quiz and the construction "We will doing the laundry tomorrow" not correct. So, the only one choice is "are doing". This is correct, but strange.

    May be there is some article that explains this construction. Or somebody can explain this.

    Thank you!
    Please, can You correct, if I have made mistakes.

    Here, you can say either, "We are doing the laundry tomorrow," or "We will do the laundry tomorrow." They mean the same thing; perhaps a different connotation sometimes, but usually they are interchangeable. Can't you do this in Russian as well, for example, "Я иду вечером," it isn't present but you use the present tense anyway. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you can do this.

    Search for "present continuous for future".

    Moreover, the second option is simply grammatically wrong, you can't say "we will doing" at all.

    Yes, but "we will doing" makes absolutely no sense.
