Thread: couldnt get...

I couldnt get the following fragment of a song (the last two lines of it). Could you tell me whats the point??? (or rewrite it in other words...)

life just seems to pass you by
you never seem to find a way to change it
always movin with the crowd
wondering what its all about
whats the point you say
i finally made it

"whats the point you say" is the singer asking what the point of life is, what is life about?, what is the purpose? as a follow on from what was said about life in the previous lines.

As for the last line, it doesn't match up from the rest, it's a contrast and stand-alone verse where the singer has gone through saying what's the point, and then saying how the've made it through life despite it looking pointless.

Something like that... A lot of songs don't tend to make much sense anyway...
