Audio files, again (some with a broad British accent)

For those who is not bored to death yet with my requests of that nature...

There is a short video (seaserpent.avi) at the usual location, http://translations.nm.ru/files

The sound file is just a soundtrack of that same video (for those who would like play it with some sound enhancing/processing software)

Here is what I can make out in that video (red text marks places I am not sure of, blanks (____) just need to be filled):
Creating the Loch Ness monster here today, during of a day was pretty simple. We started with a wood skeleton like camera ___ another type of ____ and___ standard dive weights here. Attached to the nose is a cable. ___ an underwater scuba that propels itself __ (in? under?) the water. We were navigating using a hand-help ____. Just going straight out, doing the movements, doing the circular motion and coming straight on on back again, doing the same movements. That was an easy hoax to pull off.

The video is compressed with a Microsoft Video codec, so I think it should play alright with the default codecs that come with your Windows. If not, you should be able to download the codec easily (just try playing it with Windows Media Player, and it should autodownload it. Or else I can recompress it with some other codec (DivX or Xdiv, for example).

    Thanks!!
By the way, I am afraid more audio files are coming tomorrow... hopefully, this is the last TV show I have to translate w/o a transcript . Sometimes I hate my customer

PS. A free cookie to the first person to guess what program this is taken from

That's a pretty good result, thanks. . It is really helpful. But how the hell could I miss "compass"?

I agree with kalinka_vinnie except for the following sentence I hear:

We started with a wood skeleton, lay canvas or another type of cloth over it, paint it, your standard dive weights here.

The scuba diver is narrating so he left out some words that he might otherwise put in written text.

Well, here are those sounds files I promised Hope none of them was corrupted during uploading. Longer/slowed down versions or short videos of these fragments can be posted if needed. In some cases, I this can hear what is being said, but it doesn't seem to make sense to me, so I am double-checking. Thanks
Note (just in case): names such as Billy Meier, Shiels and Cunday have been veryfied as correct, so please don't try to re-inrprete them as common words .

Note 2: if some file listed here is missing in the folder, it means someone else has helped me with it and I have deleted the file, but haven't update the post yet.

sound 2.wav: "Billy Meier felt we'll all be done to draw evil into... the _____ of a cult"

Sound 3.wav: "Look at this frame here, you can actually see a line going down here which looks likes neither a ____ or again is suspicious for a line"

Sound 6.wav "And the hoaxes [of?] amazing flying saucers could be the greatest UFO ____ ever caught on film" (the word in the blank sounds like "emotions", but that doesn't make sense )

Sound 9.wav "_____ began to play this straight. It wasn't a very big dinosaur"

Sound11.wav "And he believes this is the method Shiels used in 1997 to render the amazing Nessie senior" That's what I hear, but "to render Nessie senior?" Guess there is something here that I am not getting.

Sound12.wav "The large, skelly, snake-like animal" Skelly?

Sound13.wav "Meier films another flying saucer flying by the road by, as ____ can be seen passing beneath it"

Sound14.wav "that he makes UFO models, __________"

Sound15.wav "Cunday ____ more elaborate rigging of a model behind this purported flying saucer caught on film"

I guess I need to watch more British shows or something. Maybe I'll get to understand the accent of the recordings below sooner or later.... Does he sound British at all? He may be born in Australia or South Africa, for all I know...

Sound19.wav -- That's a real bad one.... and a long one, too. Same guy as in previous two. With someone else's help, I was able to decipher some of it...

"My mum then stepped in and said "hey why don't you get an orange segment" ....________________________ "An orange segment, what you talking about?". she's like, "Well just listen to me. If you cut into four and then you bend it. You then get that ellipse shape".
So I did that, cut it to size , then tacked it in with small dressmaking pins, then covered it with gloss paint."

patterson_speaking.wav - another guy with hot porridge in his mouth... "As it... eh... as ____ across ___ get footage of it. It turned a couple times and looked at us. And... and as it turned _________ impression _______ it didn't run, didn't act scared, but yet____ obvious

    ----
Edit: Thankfully, only one file is left out of 6 files containing speech of that guy who pronounces 90 as nointee and day as die....

    Thanks, Basurero!

A little double-checking. In "Sound 3", can it be something like "looks like 's [is or it's] neither a zipper or... or again, is suspicios for a line"? Meaning, essentialy, that it doesn't look like a zipper and doesn't look susicious. If there was "nor" instead of "or" before "again", it would be pretty clear. I suspect this sentence is a product of cutting/clipping.

if you mean the last blank in the patterson file, here is what I hear now: "didn't act scared, but yet that clearly obvious"

"Sandbar" is corect, by the way. I can see something that looks like a sort of a sandbar in the footage

He seems to make a strange hissing "s" sound. It's possible he was saying "it's" but it still sounds very unnatural. Perhaps he has a speech impediment. I remember having a teacher once who said "sss" at the end of every sentence.

I don't think he says "obvious". My guess is he says "yet he acted weary of us", though I'm not at all sure.

Any other native speakers have another idea?

I second basurero on it, apart from "yet it acted weary of us"... for the longest time I heead "yet act leary illness" I still hear an 'L' in there, but it might be the d and w together...

as for sound3: I hear "which looks like [it]'s neither a zipper or any[thing] suspcious for a line..." where the [] terms are an act of will in my imagination.

In case you want more input here is what I hear on the 3 sound files still on your site:

Sound3: Look at this frame here, you can actually see a line going down here, which looks like [it']s neither a zipper, or again a suspicous for a line.
(Almost the same as basurero. I don't think the speaker has a speech impediment. I agree that the clipped sound could be because of some edit of the audio file. Or the speaker simply didn't get the full sound out of his mouth. There should be a noun after adjective "suspicous" but again the speaker may simply have failed to say it. This sometimes happens when you are speaking one thing but thinking ahead about another thing.)

Sound9: The whole idea was that we were going to play this straight. It wasn't a very big dinosaur. (Same as basurero)

Patterson: As it...uh...as I walked across the sand bar I was able to get...uh...uh some fairly good footage of it. It turned uh a couple times and looked at us. And as it...uh...as it turned ...uh...uh it seemed to give me the impression it didn't want uh anything to do with it [us]. It didn't run, it didn't act scared, nor yet [did it] act leary of us. (This speaker uses "uh" as a space filler. I hear "it" at the end of the the third sentence but it is logical he meant "us". In the last phrase I hear "yet" but the speaker may have meant to say "did it".)

I don't know the context, but it sounds to me like he's saying ... "a suspicious fur liner" but doesn't finish.

I think BlackMage solved the problem of the missing noun. However it may be "a suspcious fur line" if the context is about making a fake Bigfoot (sasquatch) or some other creature that has fur.
