Thread: German/Russian pen pals

I'm a beginner in German, and I'm looking for a German pen pal. I'm Russian, female, Learning German is one of my hobbies, but I haven't advanced much yet. I'm rarely online, that is, I'd prefer to be in correspondence by e-mail, not by Internet messengers. I would be very glad to practice in the language with the help of a native speaker and promise to help with Russian in my turn.

It would be interesting to know what resourses you use for learning German? Both internet sites and books (if any).

BTW, Russians, maybe you already know this site, but it has a lot of resources for learning many languages, including German. I especially enjoyed his explanation of how you should learn languages(it sums up what I've been trying to say after 5 years of learning Russian )

I downloaded one of the German texts written in his method and don't really see what is so amazing about it, but the page where he talks about how you should go about learning a language is worth reading.

Pravit, yeah, I know this site. Frank's methodology is really interesting, but his examples/illustrations are a bit confusing.
