"And me" is only used in the predicate. Victor and I (we) went to the store. The store owner kicked Victor and me (us) out.

Because this site is viewed by many people who are just starting, and we don't want them to learn wrong.

By the way do you know what "русского размера" means? Nothing about exactly size.... It's just name of russian pop-band..

question, when you say a work is by a given author or songwriter etc....do you use genitive or instrumental case. Ive seen it written somewhere like title and then author's name in instrumental case. Anyone?

In Russkie Rasskazy all of the "by ~" are in the genitive. Бунина, Достоевского, т.д.

voina i mir tolstim. I asked one of my friends this because i was writing an application to a Russian university and it asked about works read, etc....Guess i did it wrong though. Oh well, good to know. So it would be tolstova, dostoevskova, solzhenitsyna, etc... depending on the ending.

Using proper spelling it is "Толстого", "Достоевского" because of ending "-й"

The point was that in Russian, it should have been "Victor and I".
Виктор и я любим песни русского размера.

Виктор и меня makes no sense because "я" is not receiving the action of the verb Любить which by the way needs to be conjugated. You could however say Виктор любит меня or Я люблю Виктора (AWWW!!!) - the noun RECEIVING the action of the verb любить gets put into accusative.
By the way, isn't V's name actually Vitya? Or maybe that's some swedish diminutive of "Viktor"...who knows..
