Thread: Не когда не пишите с BLOCKами LETTERSами!

Ok... if you are just starting to learn Russian, here is a word of advice (actually, several words... but thats colloquilisms for you)

Advice: NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER EVER EVER write Russian as it is typed!! Never write a single block letter, and vow to keep things that way until you have some grasp of the language. USE CURSIVE!
It is really annoying when people cannot read/write cursive and make you write Russian in block letters so they can read it! ACH! Just say no!

Heh, geez. Was it so hard for you to write in block letters for a lesser one? I used to write in block letters for the first year or so of learning Russian. As a 12-year old I saw the handwriting thing, thought "boring" and just skipped a couple pages. Although I still have pretty bad handwriting in Russian(since I almost never have cause to write it on paper either way) I can read and write it like that.
