Well, that's cause you don't conjugate names in English and they just use their father's version, which would obviously end with -ski. You gotta trust me on this one, woman's suffix is -ska (unless she's got a whole different last name that's has nothing to do with -ski or -ska for that matter, but that's not the case we're considering).
