Thread: Really Indepth Text Book

I am using the New Penguin Russian course, and I don't want to sound like a jumped up prat, but sometimes i feel Mr Brown pulls his punches a bit, so to speak.

I would personaly rather have somethign big and highly indepth, that has a more systemtic form of questioning (as apposed to the random style in New Penguin).

Don't know what that means but you could try 'A Comprehensive Russian Grammar' 2nd Ed. Terence WADE - Blackwell Publishing (and A Russian Grammar Workbook by the same bloke).
Could call www.grantandcutler.com 020 7734 2012 (55-57 Great Marlborough Street, London: Oxford Street tube) and ask for the Russian Desk.
Trouble with 'big and highly indepth' is getting them into your rucksac
