Thread: I'm uhm. not buying. a. uhm... book.

so, i have 50 dollar gift certificate to barnes and noble. and i have decided that i wont be buying a russian grammar book. but, if i were to say, oh... look at them, which ones are good ? 50 dollars is a good price range, well i think i actually have more about 65 $, but keep in mind i will not be buying a book so if i were to say, just... think about maybe buying one... someday (tomorrow) *cough* which ones are good? since, i'm new to the whole book thing. *note, i already know most (95%) of grammar rules, i have all the endings memorized, i just need practice and, the little extra rules, like when to use e instead of ё, or WTF причём means, i don't want to waste money on crap i already know*

The Голоса series by Robin et al. is well organized, easy to follow and has companion CD's and website.

Well, Barnes and noble sucks for grammar books unless u buy them online... so, i ended up getting 501 verbs, and The second most expensive "Oxford dictionary". spent nearly 50 dollars. anyways, i found a used book of that "Comprehensive russian grammar" book, used for 27 dollars, im gunna buy that tomorrow.

ive used the first goloca, pretty good book. I just dont like how they dont give you the gen plurals in the tables just because you havent learned them yet. (at least in the beginer to intermediate version)....Im assuming in their second volume (i switched to a couple diff books since), they give you the tables
