Does anyone have this book? I picked it up the other day, and it seems very....*ahem* interesting. Now granted, I know absolutely nothing about Russian slang, but how accurate is it?

I had a chance to browse through this book. It includes both very common and hardly ever used expressions (most of which are not allowed on this form).

i have the book. what's really irritating is that they don't accent the words, so you could be pronouncing everything really stupidly. i'm lucky, my husband is russian. i had him go through the book with a red pen and accent all the words for me he found one misspelling, but he knew most of the words, it's not a bad book.
That leads me to the question how native Russians know how to accent an unknown word, for example the names of persons or cities.
I think that accent is one on of the main problmens for foreign learners of Russian.
My old Russin teacher once said that her students after a certain time reach the point where the just do it right. How does that work?
I must confess that I'm still didn't arrive there.
