I need a male Russian name that sounds good with my last name, which transliterates into Швед.
I would prefer a name that is NOT super common. Please list super common names anyway, but try to think of some less common ones.
I’m a young guy (20’s), do NOT select a name that sounds good for a 70 year old, but does not fit a 20 year old. For example, if a 20 year old Russian man asked me for an American/English name, I would NEVER select Dick, Harry, Herman, Erney, Moe, etc. I strongly feel those names are terrible for younger men; however, I would have no problem giving one of those names to an older man.
I don’t know any Russians so I’m relying on strangers (you). Getting a name in the language your learning is a great first step. Please help.
